Seppeltsfield Watervale Riesling (2022) – Lifted notes of talc powder, lemon aspen (a floral native citrus), and fresh cut pinklady apples. Grainy lemon wattleseed notes overlay an underlying skeletal backbone of defined mineral acidity. Great flavor depth of finely cut finger limes and textural richness of custard apple and fresh lemon curd. Massive palate length and persistence.

Tons of mandarin oranges and orange blossom aromas. Generous fruit and a nice creaminess on the mid-palate, before the vibrant limey acidity sets it alight at the finish. Based on an 80 year vineyard with some wine from a 40 year old terraced vineyard. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
