Radikon is one of Friuli-Venezia Giulia’s most influential producers, known for redefining what skin-contact white wine can be. This 2022 Pinot Grigio comes from the family’s vineyards in Oslavia, where extended contact with the grape skins gives the wine its distinctive coppery hue, texture and savory complexity. Expect layers of dried apricot, orange peel, red apple, herbs and spice, backed by fresh acidity and a gently tannic grip. Far removed from conventional Pinot Grigio, this is a characterful Italian orange wine with depth and structure, equally at home with charcuterie, roasted vegetables, richer seafood dishes and aged cheeses.
