Unwinding in the glass with scents of cherries, dark berries, baking chocolate and spices, the 2020 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Aux Gravains is medium to full-bodied, velvety and layered, with plenty of concentration and powdery structuring tannin. It’s the highest-alcohol wine in the range this year, and that only amplifies its tendency to rank as the domaine’s most structured Savigny.
