Peter Lauer No 7 Ayler Kupp Riesling Spätlese (2022) – Faß 7 is every year our elegant Spätlese. If the Kabinett reflects the character of ripe grapes, we select overripe, golden-yellow fruit, just before they start to dry up, for the Spätlese. This gives the wine exotic notes. Passion fruit and oranges on the nose are characteristic of this Saar classic. We recommend letting it mature for a few years to enjoy it with savory or fruit dishes. If you don’t want to wait, you should top off your sorbet or fruit dessert with this late-harvest wine or enjoy it on its own.
