Laberinto ‘Arcillas’ Riesling (2022)

Product Description

Laberinto ‘Arcillas’ Riesling (2022) – The Riesling was planted in 1995 in their steepest stoniest plot, a small .7ha. All their fruit is farmed organically. The altitude, the cool dry days, cold nights, and the extra UV radiation make this a surprising, yet incredible location for growing Riesling! The fruit is farmed organically, it is fermented with native yeast and 20% of the fruit spent 15 days with skin contact. This contact does not color the wine but builds texture which balances the acidity. Dry, concentrated, fresh and long, this is a wine that will surprise and delight the adventurous.

Tim Atkin

2023 Chilean White Wine of the Year “I hope this won’t sound like exaggeration, but I can’t remember tasting a better Riesling from the New World in the last decade. Sourced from a single 0.7-hectare parcel in one of Chile’s most beautiful vineyards, this is an unwooded marvel that used 20% skin fermentation. Celery and honeysuckle aromas lead you into a concentrated, perfectly balanced palate of lime, green apple and wet stones. Stunning.” 2023-29
