Winemaker Notes: Aszu dessert wines are Tokaj’s most historic, made when botrytized grapes are collected individually and pressed gently under their own weight. In most cases, the Aszu berries are macerated with the juice from non-botrytized grapes. The estate’s classic Aszu wine shows tremendous richness. Balance is maintained by knife-edged acidity.
