Pretty aromas combine notes of various red berries, spice and floral nuances. There is a more refined mouthfeel to the attractively vibrant middle weight flavors that exude a refreshing salinity on the ever-so-slightly rustic but not especially austere or chewy finale.
This shows the elegant, ethereal raspberry fruit with a rose petal, sweet edge on the palate that is so typical of Chambolle. The texture is light and fine, but not lacking in substance. Marvellous. Confusingly there is a village-level Les Bussières in Chambolle and La Bussière in Morey, but this is from the Chambolle side, in the portion classed in premier cru.
