The bouquet is deep, pure and utterly classical in profile, offering up scents of red and black cherries, plums, grilled meats, dark soil tones, mustard seed, bonfire and a nice touch of cedary oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and already quite suave on the attack, with a sappy core of fruit, marvelous transparency, ripe, seamless tannins, tangy acids and impeccable balance on the long, complex and focused finish. Fine, fine juice.
