Domaine Michel Gros Hautes Côtes de Nuits ‘Au Vallon’ (2019)

It is aromatically similar to the Hautes Côtes cuvée with perhaps just a little more layering. It does, however, have a noticeable difference on the palate as the mid-palate flavors are both smoother and finer with seductive intensity through to the more mineral finish where again a hint of warmth gradually emerges. It is very good and worthy of your interest, in addition it should withstand 3 to 5 years of cellaring. -Allen Meadows, Burghound
