Domaine Jamet Cotes-du-Rhone Rouge (2022)

Domaine Jamet Cotes-du-Rhone Rouge (2022) – 100% Syrah, from vineyards just outside the Côte Rôtie AOP. The Côtes du Rhône is an assemblage of parcels located on the upper slopes of the commune of Ampuis selected from clay and schist soils, raised in large old oak barrels. Wonderfully lifted aromas of flowers and spice, bright cherry fruit, supple and mineral, smoke, very energetic, medium bodied but intense and charming, primary yet subtle, flavoursome; very good length. Quite amazing for what it is; not just a Côtes du Rhône!
