Château Guiraud Sauternes – 375 ml (2009)

This vintage is simply extraordinary. With a good yield, we have produced a powerful, very aromatic wine that presents a perfect alcohol-sugar-acidity balance and an impressively pure botrytis. The 35% Sauvignon from Guiraud speaks once again and gives this wine a radiant freshness and airy sugars. On the palate, we find both pink grapefruit, candied lemon, notes of apricot, an opulence supported by a very roasted botrytis. Impeccable picking allows a great aromatic definition of the cru and an obvious and dazzling representation of the Guiraud terroir; a tense, straight and pure wine.
