Wine Tasting – Walla Walla Cabernet Sauvignon

Welcome to our first tasting event of 2024! We are kicking off the year with a fantastic lineup of Cabernet Sauvignons from the Walla Walla Valley in Washington. Our own Travis Doyle will lead you through five incredible selections, all from the 2020 vintage.

In many ways, 2020 was a difficult vintage, with very little rain, a lot of heat, and in the middle of COVID. The warm and dry year produced very low yields, but also exceptional quality. Join us and try some of the best wines Washington has to offer!

Leonetti Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Long and luscious. Notes of ripe plum, plum flower, honey, and baking spices. 22 months in 75% new French oak.

Va Piano Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Aromatic and Dense. Notes of black plum, blackberry, basil, and sage. 22 months in 50% new French oak.

Bledsoe Family Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Lush and Luxurious. Notes of blackberry cobbler, blueberry, and graphite with a chocolatey finish. 18 months in 45% new French oak.

Pepper Bridge Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Elegant and structured. Notes of blueberry and plum, with a touch of earth and chocolate. 18 months in 50% new French oak.

Abeja Heather Hill Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Dark and sophisticated. Notes of black currant, crushed berries, cocoa powder, and clove. 21 months in 51% new French oak.
