We are excited to announce our next tasting event – an exploration of wines from the Sancerre region in France! Join us on Wednesday, May 29 at 6 p.m. as our General Manager Travis Doyle leads us through five incredible selections from this special region.
Sancerre is located nearly in the center of France, within the Loire Valley. It is known for its Sauvignon Blanc and its unique blend of soils, including silex (flint). These aromatic white wines boast high acidity and subtle minerality. This tasting will feature three of these delightful white wines, as well as a just-released rosé, and a Pinot Noir that embodies the special terroir of the region.
