Wine Tasting – Revana Family Vineyards

We are thrilled to announce our next in-store wine tasting event! On December 7 at 6 p.m., we will sample five incredible wines from the Revana Family Portfolio. Sam Dungan, National Sales Manager for Revana Family will guide us through a selection of red wines from their three different labels: Revana, Alexana, and Corazon del Sol.
 
Revana Family Vineyards was founded in 1997 by Dr. Madaiah Revana. Dr. Revana’s remarkable journey encompasses a rich heritage of farming in India, a stellar medical career in the U.S., and a passionate foray into winemaking. After excelling as a cardiologist in Texas for over 45 years, his fascination with wine, sparked by encounters with Bordeaux and Burgundy’s finest, led him to explore vineyards worldwide. He now owns successful wineries in Napa, Oregon, and Argentina.

Alexana Dundee Hills Estate Pinot Noir 2017
An elegant and refined Pinot Noir with notes of cherry, pomegranate, vanilla, and black tea.

Alexana Gran Rouge GSM Blend 2016
From a single vineyard in Columbia Valley. Ripe black cherry, bramble, spicebox, and cedar with a smooth finish.

Corazon del Sol ‘Los Chacayes’ Malbec 2019
100% Malbec grown at 3600’ elevation. Vibrant fresh plum, black raspberry, and violets with super fine tannins and a velvety finish.

Corazón del Sol ‘Magma’ Bordeaux Blend 2019
A blend of Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Full bodied with ripe red plum and cherry, crushed stones, rose petal, and baking spice.

Revana ‘Terroir Series’ Napa Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
Composed of three single vineyard terroirs within St Helena, Oak Knoll, and Atlas Peak. Notes of black currant, boysenberry, and plum balanced with anise, violet, and cocoa.
