We are so excited to announce our very special Valentine’s Day tasting event! On February 14 at 6 p.m., join us while we sample some amazing Port wines & chocolates. Our General Manager, Travis Doyle, will showcase four incredible Ports that highlight the different styles this wine can have.
Port comes from the Duoro region in northern Portugal. It has a storied history, dating back to when the British controlled Portugal’s wine production in the 1800s. Port is made by taking still wine, adding a bit of brandy, and aging it either in the bottle or in wood barrels. The base wine, the aging method, and time spent in the barrel or bottle all contribute to different styles of Port.
