We are delighted to announce our next tasting event, coming up on Tuesday, September 12 at 6 p.m.! We will have a selection of incredible French wines from renowned importer Michael Corso Selections. Chris Miller, the Pacific Northwest Representative, will guide us through five fantastic selections, showcasing classic expressions from Alsace, Loire Valley, and Rhône Valley.
Michael Corso Selections specializes in importing high-quality wines, primarily from France, focusing on small vignerons who prioritize sustainable and organic practices. Founded in 2008 by Mike Corso, a seasoned professional with over 40 years in the wine industry, the company believes that good growers make good wine. The Michael Corso portfolio is hand-selected and reflects the company’s traditional taste and extensive experience in wine sales, distribution, and importing. With a non-interventionist approach, they favor wines that are food-friendly, well-balanced, and expressive of their unique terroirs.

Domaine Camille Braun Crémant d’Alsace Rosé NV (Alsace)
Pale pink with lively and persistent mousse. Expressive cherry strawberry and red fruits. Delicate palate with a soft finish.
Domaine de la Racauderie Vouvray Sec 2022 (Loire Valley)
Classic dry Vouvray, made with 100% Chenin Blanc, showing notes of white peach, apple and yellow flowers. Super fresh with a mineral palate.
Domaine Dozon ‘Clos du Saut au Loup’ Chinon 2020 (Loire Valley)
All Cabernet Franc, showing traditional notes of plum skin, raspberries and capsicum abound. Manageable tannins and herbal notes underscore a direct fruitiness.
Domaine Chevalier Crozes-Hermitage Rouge ‘Les Voleyses’ 2020 (Rhône Valley)
Fragrant nose of blackberries, plums, a hint of leather. Layers of fruit roll over the plate, very soft and appealing. Chewy texture, medium finish. A 100% Syrah for current drinking, enjoy with grilled meats.
Domaine Raspail-Ay Gigondas 2020 (Rhône Valley)
A beautiful, full-bodied blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre. Fine and well-balanced with red fruit notes of raspberry and black cherry with highlights of black pepper, licorice and herbs de Provence.
