We are thrilled to announce our next tasting event featuring wines from Long Shadows Vintners! Join us on Tuesday, June 10 at 6 p.m. as Long Shadows Sales Manager Matthew Wollen leads us through six of these amazing Washington wines.
When Washington wine visionary Allen Shoup founded Long Shadows in 2002, his idea for a family-run winery was as simple as it was complex. Recruit seven internationally acclaimed winemakers, give each access to Washington State’s best grapes, and outfit a winery to the vintners’ exacting cellar specifications. From the beginning, Long Shadows’ winemaking and viticulture director, Gilles Nicault, collaborated with each winemaker to realize their unique vision. Today, each Long Shadows wine reflects the variety and style of the iconic winemaker who inspired it. The wines have enjoyed critical acclaim that has continued to grow vintage after vintage, with the style of each wine firmly in place.
