Get ready for our next wine tasting experience on Wednesday, July 26 at 6 p.m. highlighting the unique wines of K Vintners! Eric Ebright with Hayden Beverage will guide us through a selection of these distinctive wines from renowned winemaker Charles Smith.
Charles Smith opened his first winery, K Vintners, in December 2001. He quickly made a name for himself with his debut vintage, the 1999 K Syrah, which he sold out of the back of his 1987 Chevy Astro van. The wine’s immediate sell-out signaled his exceptional talent as a winemaker. Charles’ wines, easily identifiable by the bold black “K” on the label, continue to impress. Over the last 20-plus years, Charles Smith’s wines have gained international recognition. Today, K Vintners stands as Washington State’s largest independent, winemaker-owned winery with a reach spanning all 50 states and 23 countries worldwide.
