Wine Tasting – French Favorites

We are excited to announce our next upcoming tasting event! On Thursday, November 2 at 6 p.m., our General Manager Travis Doyle will showcase an excellent selection of French wines all imported by the renowned Kermit Lynch at our Boise wine bar in Hyde Park.

This ‘Tour de France’ is the perfect lineup as we head into the holiday food season. Travis will lead you through five different wines, each highlighting the best of their respective regions. The tasting will take you through Beaujolais, Burgundy, Loire, Provence, and Languedoc. All the wines are exceptionally food-friendly and ready for the Thanksgiving table.

Domaine Chignard Fleurie ‘Les Moriers’ 2021
100% Gamay that’s perfect for the Thanksgiving table. Bright red cherry, violets, and granite. Energetic and refined.

Benoit Cantin Irancy Rouge 2019
100% Pinot Noir from Burgundy. Ripe cherry, blood orange, rose petals, and black peppercorn. Silky tannins, fresh acidity, and soulful Burgundian charm.

Charles Joguet Chinon ‘Cuvée Terroir’ 2020
100% Cabernet Franc. Tart raspberry, pomegranate, charred jalapeno skin, and graphite. Gorgeous, multi-dimensional, and layered.

Domaine de Terrebrune ‘Terre d’Ombre’ Mont Caume Rouge 2022
Mourvedre blend from Provence. A vivid purple color with notes of wild berries, perfumed flowers, and spice. Soft, expressive, and smooth.

Les Vignes Oubliées Terrasses du Larzac Rouge 2020
Grenache, Syrah, and Carignan blend from Languedoc-Roussillon. Generous red, blue, and black fruits with chewy, firm tannins, and rustic charm.
