For our next tasting event, we are excited to take your on a tour of California Pinot Noir wines! Join us on Tuesday, May 7 at 6 p.m., when our General Manager Travis Doyle will lead us through five different expressions of this fantastic grape.
Pinot Noir is one of the most popular grapes in the world and has been widely planted in California since the 1960s. California Pinot Noir wines tend to have vibrant fruit flavors, moderate tannins, and bright acidity. California has a diversity of areas where Pinot Noir flourishes. This tasting event will take you through five different appellations and five distinct wines – all from some of the top producers in California.

Santa Rita Hills – Lively and bright with notes of strawberry, raspberry, wild mint, tarragon, and eucalyptus leaf.
Kistler Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2022
Russian River Valley – Firm and focused with notes of dried red berries, red licorice, loamy earth, and spice.
Robert Sinskey Los Carneros Pinot Noir 2018
Carneros – Aromatic and complex with notes of cranberry, bing cherry, rhubarb, fresh rose petal, lilac, and sage.
Failla Savoy Vineyard Pinot Noir 2022
Anderson Valley – Silky and elegant with notes of brambly currant, cranberry, dried rosemary, thyme, and damp topsoil.
Merry Edwards Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2020
