Wine Tasting – Adobe Road Winery

For our next tasting event, we are thrilled to welcome California winery Adobe Road to the shop! On Thursday, April 4 at 6 p.m., Regional Sales Manager Callum Clarke will pour five of their fantastic wines for us to sample. Located in Sonoma County, Adobe Road produces a range of premium and award-winning wines.

In 2002 Kevin Buckler, a renowned professional race car driver and team owner, alongside his wife Debra, established Adobe Road Winery in Sonoma County. Buckler, who has clinched victories at prestigious racing events like the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, translates his racing discipline and quest for excellence into the art of winemaking. Buckler ventured into the wine industry with the vision of producing exceptional wines that reflect the rich diversity of California’s wine regions. Adobe Road focuses on crafting wines that highlight the distinctive traits of vineyards across Sonoma and Napa Valleys, Dry Creek, Russian River, and Petaluma Gap. Under the close collaboration with Winemaker Garrett Martin, the winery commits to an intensive, hands-on approach, from grape selection to blending, ensuring that each bottle embodies the passion and precision akin to Buckler’s racing career.

Sangiacoma Roberts Road Chardonnay 2021
100% Chardonnay from Petaluma Gap. Aromas of crème brulée, fresh mango, and ripe pineapple.

Shift Red Blend 2019
Zinfandel, Tempranillo, Syrah, Petite Sirah blend. Full bodied with dark red fruits, strawberry compote, dark plum, and baking spices.

Redline Red Blend 2021
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah Blend. Very full bodied with notes of dark ripe plums, licorice, and chocolate covered blueberries.

Sangiacomo Roberts Road Pinot Noir 2021
100% Pinot Noir from Petaluma Gap. A ripe style of Pinot with notes of raspberry sauce, black cherry, caramelized cherries, and fresh flowers.

Blue Dog Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma and Napa Counties. Notes of wild blueberry, blackberry, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cocoa nibs. 30 months in 85% new French oak.
