This is a one-time ticketed tasting event.
November 4 | 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

We are pleased to invite you to our next tasting event showcasing sparkling wines from the iconic Schramsberg Vineyards of Napa Valley! Join us on Tuesday, November 4 at 6 p.m. when Laruent Sarazin, VP of Sales & Marketing at Schramsberg Vineyards will guide us through five wines from this historic California estate.
Founded in 1862, Schramsberg is the first American winery to produce world-class sparkling wine using the traditional Champagne method. The estate was established by Jacob Schram, a German immigrant whose hillside vineyards on Napa’s Diamond Mountain made him one of California’s earliest wine pioneers. A century later, Jack and Jamie Davies rediscovered the long-abandoned property and devoted themselves to restoring it, reviving both its historic caves and its legacy. Their efforts quickly drew international attention—most famously when Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs was served at the 1972 “Toast to Peace” between President Nixon and Premier Zhou Enlai, marking the first American wine ever poured at a state event abroad.
Today, the Davies family continues that legacy with the same attention to detail that defined their early success. Grapes are sourced from cool-climate vineyards along the North Coast and hand-harvested for balance and acidity. Each cuvée is made in the traditional method and aged in the winery’s historic hillside caves, developing texture, depth, and nuance over time. The result: sparkling wines that combine energy, elegance, and unmistakable California character.
