Samuel Billaud Chablis 1er Cru Les Fourneaux (2021)

Product Description

Samuel Billaud Chablis 1er Cru Les Fourneaux (2021) – Samuel Billaud Chablis 1er Cru Les Fourneaux (2021) is a high-quality Chardonnay wine from the Chablis region of Burgundy, France. The Fourneaux vineyard is one of the best premier cru sites in Chablis, located on the right bank of the Serein river. This wine has a bright, pale yellow color with aromas of citrus, green apple, and mineral notes. On the palate, it is crisp and refreshing with flavors of lemon, lime, and a hint of white peach. The acidity is bright and lively, balancing the fruit and mineral flavors and leading to a long, complex finish. This wine would pair well with seafood, shellfish, or poultry dishes. It can be enjoyed now or aged for several years to allow the flavors to develop further.

Antonio Galloni

The 2021 Chablis Les Fourneaux 1er Cru has a superb bouquet with scents of dried honey, wax resin and flinty aromas, powerful and very well focused. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, taut and fresh, lovely salinity lending tension and persistence on the finish. As good a Fourneaux as you will find.
