Paolo Bea Rosso Riserva ‘Pipparello’ (2017)

This is decidedly a wild and earthy expression of this noble grape, blended with 25% Montepulciano, and 15% Sagrantino, into a wine of deep aromatic elegance with a pleasing farm-fresh  vegetal sense of umami and a refreshing hint of salinity. The palate is dense, with a potent direction towards ripe cherries and refined tannins that extend the finish
