Kiona Old Block Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (2017)

Our Old Block Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is exactly what it sounds like; Cabernet Sauvignon from that original 1975 planting, the one that started it all. As vines mature, they tend to produce softer, more elegant wines with smooth, velvety tannins and nuanced flavors. Typically this material would find its way into either our Estate Red Mountain Reserve and/or Cabernet Sauvignon blends, but we decided to keep a few barrels from the stellar 2017 vintage separate for this limited bottling.
