If you like White Burgundy and Chablis (i.e. you enjoy white wine and have a pulse), we always recommend the whites of Mount Etna as a first foray into the world of Italian wine. Made from the local grape carricante, the wines are saline and bright with citrus, and have texture without being in the least bit oaky. Year after year, Vigneri’s ‘Aurora’ is our favorite. Delicious with roasted chestnuts
