Fresh, just-ripe cherry and blackberry fruit with dried rose petal and potpourri mingling with fresh violet, forest floor, and medicinal herb. Grapefruit pith, coffee and chocolate join in on the palate, tannins are fine-grained with cracked, black pepper singing in the background. Long lengthy finish that concludes with a metamorphic rocky mineral edge. An elegant and finessed wine with potential to age beautifully over several years. A single vineyard wine coming from (IOBC-certified sustainably farmed) Seven Hills Vineyard. 50% whole cluster and traditionally crushed under foot. Fermented by wild yeast and aged in Amphora and neutral French Oak. Unfined and unfiltered.
