The name of Fabio Gea’s Barbaresco Riserva is in dialect and translates to “Grandpa Went Truffle Hunting Without the Dog.” Initially shy this wine slowly opens up to offer scents of earth, Spice and then dark and red fruits. The taste is rich with deep structure and integrated tannins. A beautiful wine that will improve with age.
