Finca Alto Cantabria was the first barrel fermented white wine in Rioja in an attempt by founder, Jesús Martínez Bujanda, to offer a Viura wine with more body and complexity. The Finca Alto Cantabria earned a place on Wine Spectator’s Top 100 in 2012. Straw yellow in colour the wine offers intense fruity aromas of peach, apricot and white flowers, well-assembled with the spicy notes provided by the oak ageing. The palate is rounded and well-balanced and has a full, long and very persistent finish.
